Hudson and the
Hoo Doo Cats

My band, Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats, is a roots music band that performs cover songs originating from early jump blues, swing, rock n roll, rhythm and blues, soul, guitar boogie, urban blues and rockabilly. The closest I can get to naming a genre is JumpSwinginRockinBoogieBluesaBilly. My original songs have been influenced by these genres.

The current version of the band features the incredible guitar work of Mr. Jon Ferber. The rock steady pulse of the bass is provided by Vince Corkery. I’m very lucky to be playing with these fine musicians and even finer people. Adding to our camaraderie is the fact we were all born within three months of each other in the same year. We are currently recording a new album of originals.

As we get a bit older, the late night club scene is no longer on our radar. We would love to play for your community and private events (day time or night time).
